Privacy Policy & Support

When you create an account, we collect the information you give us: your display name, email address, date of birth, gender, orientation, bio, interests, the city you choose to share, and the photos you upload.

As you use the app, we record activity needed to make matching work: your swipes (likes and passes), your matches, the messages you send, and the time you were last active.

We do not collect your device's precise GPS location. Location is limited to the city you enter yourself.

Your profile is shown to other people on Lovelead so you can be matched. Your activity helps us suggest people you are more likely to connect with.

We use your email to sign you in and to contact you about your account. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Lovelead checks age, mutual orientation preferences, general location, and relationship goals inside Convex, our backend service. Interests, bio similarity, and likes and passes contribute to compatibility scoring there.

Optional AI suggestions use Cerebras to rank potential connections. With your permission, we send temporary candidate labels and compatibility summaries: shared-interest counts, bio similarity, general location compatibility, aligned relationship goals, and a compatibility score. We do not send names, account IDs, emails, birthdates, gender, orientation, city or country names, profile text, photos, messages, or individual likes and passes. Both people must enable this feature before their compatibility summary is sent. These summaries are reduced personal data, not a guarantee of anonymity. Standard matching works without Cerebras. You can change your choice in Settings.

External AI is off until you explicitly enable it. We record your choice, the date, and the notice version. Turning it off stops new requests involving your summaries; requests already sent cannot be recalled. Standard recommendations, likes, mutual matches, and chat remain available.

Your data is stored on Convex, a secure serverless platform. Passwords are hashed with scrypt and are never stored in plain text. Photos are kept in access-controlled file storage.

The parts of your profile you choose to share are visible to other users so they can decide whether to connect with you. We share information with service providers (such as our hosting and recommendation infrastructure) only as needed to run the app, and we never sell your data.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can edit your profile at any time in the app.

You can delete your account anytime in the app under Settings → Delete account. You can also email contact@novor.dev for data requests.

Lovelead includes tools to block and report other users. We review reports to keep the community safe and may remove accounts that break our rules.

Lovelead is only for people 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to use the app.

Lovelead does not allow child sexual abuse or exploitation. Users can report concerning profiles, messages, or content in the app, and can block other users at any time.

We review reports, remove content or accounts that violate these standards, and report suspected child sexual abuse material to the appropriate authorities when required. For child-safety concerns or questions about these standards, contact contact@novor.dev.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page.
